![]() I can have it with my 12 lvl leader and with a lvl 5 Frost Warlord. Just found "Blood Brother" spell (costs 10 points). Up to now I ignored Strong Will, coz I thought it is a waste when a hero has already 20 or 40 (or more) spirit resistance (more than 100% is wasting). I thought its purely about Resistence (the Ankh Cross Stat).Īnd thats not easy to get (unless for Mage Heroes). Good to know that it is all about Spirit (attack /resistance). I lost one Tyrant, two Orc Warbreeds and 2 of 3 Heroes (the Mage could escape). Its turn 70, when Orc Tyrants are popping out. Yes it was in a lich king castle (so outnumbering is not an option). Instant immunity for the whole stack.Ībilities like the human priest's iron heart will also make a unit immune, as will magic items that give strong will to heroes.Īnd if you have a mix of immune and non-immune units, just make sure the immune ones are closest to the reaper so they'll probably the targeted. Clearing those early is best done with a lot of spirit immune/non-living units.Įasiest is to get a warlord hero with high enough level to get the blood brothers skill. The other, more common, way to meet them is of course the castle of the lich king which is often guarded by reapers. At that stage of the game losing a unit or two to invoke death isn't a big deal. ![]() You mostly meet reapers in late-game necromancer armies, where you can generally drown them out in numbers. If all else fails, boost resistance (the stat) Make the reaper counter-attack to prevent him from using it. Strong will/100% spirit resistance makes you completely immune It's nasty, to be sure, but you can defend against it.
